Dr Satya Mitra Spoke to Rotary Club of Wellesley

Satya Mitra has been in the US since 1976. He now know knows a lot about America and Rotary. He gave his interesting background and developing enthusiasm for Rotary and how he worked to increase membership for Worcester Rotary from 48 to 120 within his year as President! He gave us many

tips on membership success: “Our club”; everyone involved; “What have I done for my club today?”. At the end of 52 weeks, what is your answer?. We need leaders to “sacrifice”; be concerned; set a goal, and “take everybody with you”. He moved from table to table, engaging everyone with a handshake, a pat on the back. His magnetic personality and inspirational message was enthusiastically received. Rotary needs help and everyone can help. His slogan and Wellesley Rotary’s slogan is “Member per Member Will Balance The World.”
